Can I start free with this product?

The free single-workstation package includes the complete Quasar suite — server, client, admin and help — on one computer. Paid licenses add workstations, POS lanes and remote connections.

Do I pay every month?

No. Licenses are a one-time purchase. Optional annual support plans provide upgrades and assistance — see Support & Services.

Will it run on my hardware?

Quasar runs on Windows x86_64 or Kubuntu 22.04/24.04 with modest hardware. The server uses PostgreSQL or SQL Server Express — both free. See Downloads for system packages and instructions.
