Balance Sheet Analysis
Investigates the balance sheet interactively. A printed balance sheet tells you what a figure is; this screen tells you what it is made of. Start at account type level, drill down through accounts to the individual transactions behind a balance, and use the Comparison tab to see how each figure has moved between two periods. Access from Ledger › Operations › Balance Sheet Analysis.

PeriodHow the comparison period is divided: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, or Year. This sets the granularity of the movement shown on the Comparison tab. BreadcrumbShows how far you have drilled — account type, then account, then transactions. Read it to keep track of which subtotal the current list belongs to. |
