Account Class Analysis
The Account Class Analysis provides a hierarchical drill-down view of general ledger totals grouped by account class. Start at the top level showing all root classes with their debit and credit totals, then double-click any class to drill down into its sub-classes or individual transactions. Use the Back button or breadcrumb to navigate up through the hierarchy. Access from Ledger in the Navigation Sidebar or from the Setup › Ledger menu.
Filter Controls

Use these controls to define the analysis period and scope.
Date RangeQuick date range presets (This Month, Last Month, This Year, etc.) for the analysis period. Selecting a preset automatically populates the From and To dates. FromStart date for the analysis period. Transactions posted before this date are excluded from the totals. ToEnd date for the analysis period. Transactions posted after this date are excluded from the totals. StoreLimit the analysis to a specific store location. Leave blank to include all stores. |
Navigation
BackNavigate back to the previous level in the class hierarchy. Disabled when already at the top level. BreadcrumbShows the current drill-down path (e.g., All Classes › Revenue › Sales). Click any level in the breadcrumb to jump directly back to that level. |
Analysis List
Analysis ListThe main drill-down list. At the top level, shows all root account classes with Debit and Credit totals. At a class level, shows sub-classes or individual GL accounts within the selected class. At the transaction level, shows individual journal entries for a specific account. Double-click any row to drill down to the next level. |
