Print Log
Records every document Quasar has printed — what it was, who printed it, when, and to which printer. It answers the questions that come up after the fact: whether an invoice was ever printed, who reprinted it, and where the output went when it did not appear on the expected tray. Printing behaviour itself is configured in Print Manager Settings. Access from System › Setup › Print Log.

Columns
DateWhen the document was printed. The list is normally read newest-first, so this is the column to sort on when tracing a recent job. Transaction TypeThe kind of document printed — customer invoice, return, quote, sales order, or purchase order. Filter on this to see, for example, every purchase order sent to a printer today. Printed ByThe user who printed it. Useful when a document was reprinted and you need to know by whom. Printer NameThe printer the job was sent to. If output went astray, this shows whether it followed the configured rule or fell back to the operating system default. Report TemplateThe report layout used. Confirms which template produced a given document, which matters where custom templates exist alongside the standard ones. |
